Born in the Czech Republic, raised in Seattle, WA and traveled the world for a living.
I have been very fortunate to have been exposed to many parts of the world and its colorful cultures. I’ve always had a fascination for photography. Not just the interplay of light of form but in capturing the subtler moments that we can all relate to as humans and that tell a uniquely personal story. A glance, a smile, a hug, a knowing squeeze of the hand — these are the moments that inspired me and I captured over the years for my clients.
In 2013, I became a mother and then again in 2020. And motherhood has been my favorite adventure, yet. And yes, I'm a mum, but who else am I?
…I still look back on or randomly come across old pictures of myself and see myself in a different light than when I strongly convinced myself these photos were worthy or necessary to take. As an inspiration. Once I became a mom, I found many reasons not to to put myself first. I now see these self-portraits not only as memories in time but also inspirations from myself to myself.
(We may have been taught this comes from a selfish, vain place and the opposite is true. Over time, I strongly realized that self-love and care is not vain or selfish, it’s anything but – and by sharing each other’s stories, our book of resources gets that much more inspiring and our dreams come closer to reality.)

Throughout the years, I learned that the biggest luxury to have is health and time on this planet where we take care of ourselves and raise our children.
To be strong, independent, kind and self-aware. As a mother it’s important to leave this earth how we found it … AND better. As a woman, it’s important to raise awareness about self-care so you have the time for yourself and health. Giving back is important.
